Most businesses and workers are honest. These simple rules protect you from the few who are not.

For workers

• Never pay any fee, deposit or 'registration charge' to get work. A real job pays you — not the other way round.
• Never share your OTP, bank PIN or Aadhaar number on a call or chat.
• Agree on pay, hours and the place before you go. Ask for it on WhatsApp.
• Tell a family member where you are going on your first day.
• Prefer businesses with the Verified business badge.
• If the work or place is not what was promised, you can leave and report it.

For businesses

• Pay what you agreed, on time, in cash or UPI.
• Check identity at the start of the first shift.
• Provide safe working conditions, water and breaks.
• Mark attendance and rate honestly — it helps every business that comes after you.

How to report

Open the job or profile and tap Report. A job reported for asking money is taken down at once while we check.
